So we rebuilt the formula from the core up.
The new SD-17 is the most technically advanced golf ball we’ve ever produced at Seed. By carefully adjusting the molecular weight of the polybutadiene core, we engineered a ball that delivers the soft feel and greenside control of a urethane tour ball — without the excessive spin normally associated with 2-piece construction.
The result?
A ball that launches fast, stays stable, spins when you need it to, and performs beautifully for a much wider range of golfers than traditional 2-piece urethane designs ever could.
